Put your node-operations skills to work

Congrid verifiers check registered publisher websites and submit verification evidence to the network. If you already operate Linux services, a macOS development machine or blockchain infrastructure, explore whether running a Congrid verifier fits your setup.

Open the official verifier setup guide.

What a Congrid verifier does

The verifier worker checks publisher assignments, verifies website member badges and submits results. This role is separate from a Cosmos consensus validator, which orders and finalizes chain transactions. Running a verifier does not by itself make you a consensus validator.

Choose your installation mode

The official installer supports Linux and macOS with native binaries. A full-stack installation includes the Congrid full node, verifier worker, publisher indexer and Chroma vector service. Linux services use systemd; macOS services use launchd. Docker is not required.

Already running a compatible Congrid node? The guide also provides an existing-node mode that installs the supporting verifier components without replacing or restarting your existing chain node. Review the current guide before installing.

Plan for ongoing operation

You need reliable uptime, suitable computing and storage capacity, and a funded verifier address. The verifier must bond tokens and maintain a balance for transaction fees. Funding an address does not automatically submit the bond. Follow the current commands, key-storage guidance and network settings in the official setup instructions.

After setup, monitor service health, RPC connectivity, assignment backlog and verifier logs. Missed or inaccurate checks can reduce reward potential. Token rewards depend on protocol rules and successful work; operating costs and rewards are not guaranteed to balance.

Start with the setup requirements

Review the software requirements, key-management steps and verifier bonding rules before you fund an address or begin operation.
